한국어 집중 교육과정
( Intensive Korean language Program / 韩语集中课程)
목적
- 한국어 능력의 강화 및 대학 수학 능력의 향상을 통해 학업 성취도 제고
- 대학 및 유학 생활에의 적응력 향상
대상자
- 2021학년도 이후 ‘부모 모두 외국인인 외국인 전형’에 입학하는 신입생 ・편입생 (편입생은 2026학년도 입학생부터 적용)
- TOPIK 5급 이상 또는 한양대학교 국제교육원 5급 이상 취득 학생은 입학 전 성적표 제출 시 수강 면제
※ 입학 후 또는 재학 중에는 한국어 성적을 제출하여도 수강 면제 불가
교과목 안내
- 신입생: 입학 후 첫 번째 학기에 4과목(8학점), 두 번째 학기에 4과목(8학점)으로 구성
- 편입생: 입학 후 첫번째 학기에 4과목(8학점)으로 구성
- 취득 학점은 졸업 학점(교양선택)으로 인정
- 필수 과목(선수강)으로 지정되며 F 학점 취득 시, 졸업 전까지 재수강 필수
- 학과별 필수 과목과의 중복 방지를 위해 월~금요일 오후 5~7시 수업으로 구성
※ 일부 학과의 특성에 따라 특정 과목의 시간이 변동될 수 있음

수강 신청 관련 유의 사항
- 한국어 집중 교육과정 교과목의 수강 신청은 학교에서 처리(별도로 신청할 필요 없음)
※ 수강 신청 처리된 8학점의 강좌 이외 잔여 학점(12학점)만큼 전공 및 교양 수강 가능
- 교양필수 '아카데믹글쓰기'는 면제됨(학기 중 시스템에 반영)
Purpose
This curriculum is specially designed to help international students improve their Korean language skills and adjust to university life.
Subject
- Newly admitted freshmen and transfer students admitted in 2021 or later under the international admission category in which both parents are non-Korean nationals (Applicable to transfer students from the 2026 academic year.)
- Students who acquire a TOPIK level 5 or higher, or Hanyang IIE level 5 or higher at the Hanyang University Institute of International Education are exempt from having to enroll in the mandatory intensive Korean language program.
※ Only for students who submit documents during the designated period of submission of Korean language certificates.
Course guide
- Freshmen: Four courses (8 credits) in the first semester and four courses (8 credits) in the second semester
- Transfer students: Four courses (8 credits) in the first semester after admission
- Accredited credits are considered as graduation credits(elective course category).
- Courses in the Intensive Korean language Program are required for graduation, and if any classes are failed, they must be retaken in order to graduate.
- Classes in this curriculum are organized from 5 to 7 pm on Mondays to Fridays to prevent overlapping major courses.

Notice for course registration
- Course registration for classes in the Korean language intensive curriculum is handled by the school(no need to apply).
※ All remaining credits(12 credits) except for the mandatory 8 credits can be selected from available major courses and/or elective courses.
- ‘Korean Academic Writing’(Compulsory General Studies) is exempted.(reflect in the system during the semester)
